We Need To Talk About Justin Theroux Taking His Pitbull As His Date To The 'Lady And The Tramp' Premiere

If you could take anyone to the movies, who would it be?

Yeah, I too would pick my pet. Justin Theroux decided to treat his dog to a night out, bringing Kuma along to the premiere of The Lady and the Tramp.

And rightly so — Kuma has a cameo in the movie! Let's see how their date went.

Justin decided to document their date on Instagram.

While everyone else was watching the movie, Justin was watching Kuma.

He snapped pictures of his pitbull enjoying her night out. Pitbulls are the best, guys. Protect them! Cherish them! Take them on dates!

Kuma was not impressed right off the bat.

"What do the words at the beginning say? This part not great. Confusing."

Can I just say, Justin Theroux deciding to use dog speak/baby speak to narrate his dog's thoughts is high-key relatable?

Also, what a gorgeous collar she was rocking! A fashionista for sure! We stan!

Honestly, her early review was already a winner.

"Wait Dogs?!!!! This whole movie is dogs???! We can go because my review is it's a masterpiece, we don't even need to finish it, but I'm going to."

First of all, when is Kuma's letterboxd account dropping, and can I follow it?

Second of all, that movie theater looks boujie af. Is it weird to be jealous of a dog? Let me know.

Kuma quickly turned into a full fangirl.

"I can't with this. I love her and i love him why is this not working out. Can't they see they need to be together?"

I'm saving this as a reaction image to use any time a couple on TV needs to get together, but haven't yet.

Then the drama kicked in.

Kuma went through some stuff while watching that movie.

"There's a DOG CATCHER in this?!! WHY would you take me to this movie?!!! I feel tricked. If they get caught we're leaving."

Oh man, things got pretty intense.

Raise your hand if you would have been super distracted a Justin Theroux taking pictures of his dog through the whole movie.

All of our hands are up, right? I bet Kuma was so frickin' confused at what was going on around her.

Kuma went full shipper on Twitter.

Instagram | @justintheroux

"This is stressing me out. They need to be together and in love and happy, and the dog catcher needs to not be in this movie. Don't get me wrong he's being played by the always excellent Adrain Martinez, but he's just too real for me rn."

Kuma is such a discerning film critic. She's hitting all the beats: passionate shipper, informed viewer, and Adrain Martinez stan.

Make her a member of the Academy.

I'm thinking this might be the only review I read for The Lady and the Tramp. Can this be put on Rotten Tomatoes? Because it fully should be on Rotten Tomatoes.

"Oh my god! F. Murray Abraham is in this?!!! He's obviously excellent in Homeland but his work in Grand Pudapest and Amadeus is untouchable. So mercurial. Pleasantly surprised here."

The film even inspired some cravings.

I dare you not to crave spaghetti when watching any version of Lady and the Tramp. Kuma was feeling some kinda way when she saw the iconic spaghetti scene, which is relatable.

"...oh my god...it's happening!...they love each oth...GAH! Just SAY you love her! Now's the perfect time!"

"Also dad, sidenote. Dinner. spaghetti. can we make that happen?"

Shipper meltdown: Part 2.

I'm also saving this to apply to will they, won't they couples. Imagine being able to use this during the Jim and Pam era of The Office? It would have come in handy big time.

"I...i can't,i..it's just...i love—it's soo...my heart is so...i just can't. I love them."

Same.

It's time to reveal Kuma's rave review.

Instagram | @justintheroux

"Whelp. It's official. That's the best movie ever made in the entire world and even if there are other worlds out there it's the best movie in those worlds too no matter what no movie will ever be better so people can stop making movies now i guess because the best one has just been made."

Now that's one hell of a review.

Once the movie was over, Kuma's thoughts turned to her stomach.

Because no date night is complete without dinner, of course! Kuma was ready to be wined and dined. Justin, however, needed to do some hardcore sniffling first.

"I'm also starving so maybe we hit a spaghetti place...Dad? You okay?"

Kuma was a real lady.

Kuma is such a great date.

"Your eyes look like they peed all over your cheeks? Maybe i take YOU out to dinner tonight."

If your question is, "how is going to do that, she's a dog," then here's your answer: she has a side hustle writing for Diply as an entertainment contributor. Duh.

What a date!

Okay, they literally found a spaghetti place and decided to recreate the legendary sharing scene from Lady and the Tramp.

Reason #4319 pitbulls need to be de-stigmatized: the gentle look on Kuma's face as she shares with Justin. How could anyone hate that precious face?

Kuma and Justin are so lucky to have found each other.

Justin posted the entire experience in his Instagram highlights, so you can head over there to see it all for yourself.

Or you could stick around here and keep reading — who knows, maybe you'll find a Kuma article.
