Teen's 'Tired Mom' Halloween Costume Is So Accurate, It's Scary

Halloween is when we get to indulge in all things spooky and scary. But what's scarier than never sleeping, hearing constant cries, and showering only once a week? If this sounds like a nightmare, don't fear — it's just motherhood.

One teen captured the spirit of this role with her hilariously realistic costume.

When it comes to Halloween costumes, most teens tend to go the "sexy" route rather than funny.

Teens are at that age where they still want to dress up, but few are willing to risk looking "uncool".

Well, one teenage girl is blowing up the internet with her creative, and if we're being honest, very realistic "tired mom" costume.

Jillian Schnerch was 13 when she created this costume in 2018 for Halloween.

Being one of eight children in her family, Jillian looked to her mom for inspiration and props.

She totally nailed it with the dark circles under her eyes and the messy bun.

Of course, Jillian's costume was completed with a Starbucks cup and a Target shopping bag.

And yes, there were bottles of wine in that bag.

She even used duct tape to attach a "toddler" around her leg and mixed powdered sugar with milk to make spit-up stains on her clothes.

I wish I could say I've never left the house looking like this, but this was my reality for most of my maternity leave.

According to Jillian's mom, who shared the photos to Facebook, Jillian really embraced her character.

She even tossed fruit snacks down to her toddler while she was role-playing.

Since Jillian's costume was shared on Facebook, moms everywhere loved how much detail she put into the look.

She really did think of everything, even going as far as adding Cheerios to her hair.

For a lot of moms, it was scary how accurate this costume looked.

For a second, I totally thought I was looking in a mirror. Great job on your clever and spooky costume, Jillian!
