Friends Dress Up As The Same Celeb For Halloween Each Year

Each year, this group of friends brilliantly dress up as a different version of the same celeb for Halloween.

The group consists of seven besties: Paige, Aida, Jamie, Lindsay, Lauren, Auburn, and Heather.

It's been eight years since they first started the tradition.

So far, they've missed one year and it was only because they were in four different cities at the same time.

“We’ve vowed to never miss another year again!” said Auburn.

The friends first bonded while working at the same crappy job.

“All seven of us were hired to work at a fashion blog offshoot of an advertising agency,” Jamie told Bored Panda.

She continued:

“Our boss was way too much to handle; eventually, it became an unbelievably toxic environment, so we all quit within two weeks of each other and have been best friends ever since!”

Turns out, their first costume as a group happened quite naturally.

Now, when they try to decide which celeb to portray for each specific year, Reddit is a huge help.

"But we typically just have a quick convo the day after Halloween and one usually becomes the group favorite pretty easily!”

Once the celeb is chosen, this where the fun part truly kicks in!

They then have to decide who gets what character.

“But honestly, no. We have a pick order predetermined for the next 25 years.”

For the image above, Auburn said that a lot of people ask whether the genie was photoshopped or not.

“Yes, it’s true that this is doctored," said Auburn. "I was there for the photo but the original has me in full Genie make-up and quite honestly, it’s terrifying."

"If you find the original, you will either be frightened to your core or laugh hysterically. It seems to go both ways!”
