Snoop Dogg Just Called Kanye West’s New Yeezy Slides For Kids 'Jail Slippers'

Snoop Dog has some feelings about Kayne West's new Yeezus slides for kids, and he's not holding back.

We're talking, calling them "jail slippers" kind of not holding back...

Brace yourself for this wild ride!

Kayne West is no stranger to fashion critiques.

The rapper has never been afraid to push the boundaries of fashion design — even if means selling what some call "run-of-the-mill" items for extravagant prices.

For instance, the internet went nuts when he launched his collection with Adidas.

People were in shock over how much the items cost.

We're talking a $235 camo tee, $625 duck boots, and a wool sweater for $1690!

A pair of Yeezy sweatpants even went for $575 (!!!)

Barneys

Yes, run-of-the-mill, kind-you-wear-to-Target, SWEATPANTS.

In case you wanted a hoodie with its arms and hood cut off, that would cost you a cool $545.

Barneys

No biggie. Just be sure to sell your kidney first!

A major reason fans were reluctant to shell out that kind of money was because the clothes didn't seem like anything special...

Some even branded his collection "homeless clothes" on Twitter!

Given that this is Yeezy, though, this didn't stop some fans from making most of Kayne's items (like those duck boots) sell out within hours.

Now, the latest item to be soon released by Kayne are these Yeezy slides for kids.

The price of them hasn't been revealed just yet, but we bet you could take out a second mortgage to afford them!

Kayne's wife, Kim Kardashian, took to Instagram last week to showcase all three of their youngest kids, Psalm, Saint, and Chicago, trying on daddy's slides.

“New Yeezy slides for kids. OMG Saint. Look at Psalm’s, look at Chi’s,” Kim said, gushing over the tiny shoes.

In fact, Saint loved them so much that he refused to take them off!

While Kayne's kiddos love the slides, one person who definitely does not is rapper Snoop Dogg...

He made that known when an Instagram account re-posted Kim's video and the rapper wasn't shy to share his two cents.

"She been getting dudes out of jail now he gone sell slippers," he said, along with two laughing emojis. "W.T.F. None of my bidness."

It didn't take long for people to agree with him.

"I'm sooo dead, you snappped!!!!!!!!!!" another wrote.

On Twitter, Yeezy's slides didn't get the warmest reception either...

The designer was roasted mercilessly over the kids' slides.

One person even compared the new Yeezy's to a potato in confusion...

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time that Kayne's had controversy with slides.

When he attended 2 Chainz wedding in August 2018, the designer modeled his own apparel by wearing his Season 6 slides.

Soon, fans began freaking out online because, based on images, they didn't fit his feet.

"Haha right. You would think someone who’s a 'shoe designer' could find sandals the right size," someone also wrote.

Others just couldn't help but poke fun at the appearance of them.

"Kanye has the shoes you randomly grab when your mum tell you to help her with unloading the groceries."

As for Snoop's comment, neither Kayne or Kim has addressed it.

They're probably wayyy too comfortable in their Yeezy slides to be caring about the haterz.

Besides, Snoop is just bringing them some free marketing!

Kanye has addressed the controversy surrounding his prices... sort of.

In a song off his newest album, Kanye offers an explanation for why his merchandise costs so much, and in doing so accidentally started new beef and shaded his own wife.

The explanation comes in his song 'On God.'

He raps, "The IRS want they fifty plus our tithe / man, that's over half the pie / I felt dry, that's on God / that's why I charge the prices I charge / I can't be out here dancin' with the stars."

So basically Kanye doesn't want to end up desperate enough for money to go on 'Dancing With The Stars.'

However, he might be forgetting that his wife, Kim Kardashian, already actually competed on the show over a decade ago.

So did his brother in law, Rob Kardashian, who actually came in second.

'DWTS' dancer Val Chmerkovskiy playfully responded to this lyric inclusion on his Instagram.

He shared this video of himself quizzically listening along to the song, and then shared a few photographs of Kim's brief appearance on the show.

Is that justification enough for these prices?

I get that sometimes we do desperate things for money, but there's no way the Kardashian-Wests are that close to Dancing With The Stars desperation, are they?
