Jennifer Aniston Reveals How Harvey Weinstein Tried To 'Bully' Her With 'Piggish Behaviour'

While she does not claim to have been in any way abused, emotionally or sexually, by the producer, she does recall an incident where she felt that he had attempted to use his power and influence to "bully" her.

She told Variety, "I remember, right when Georgina’s clothing line Marchesa was starting. That’s when he came to visit me in London while we were shooting. He’d be like, ‘Ok, so I’d like you to wear one of these to the premiere.'"

"It was not for me. He was like, ‘You have to wear the dress.’ That was my only bullying. And I was like, ‘No, I will not wear the dress.'”

“Well, what was he going to do? Come over here and make me wear it?!” Jennifer also detailed when Weinstein forced one of her friends to vacate their seat so that he could sit next to Jennifer.

Jennifer remembered exactly what went down. "He literally came to the table and said to my friend: 'Get up!' And I was like, 'Oh my gosh.'"

"It was just such a level of gross entitlement and piggish behavior," she said.

Other celebrities have come forward with similar stories about Weinstein, including Gwyneth Paltrow, who explained how Jennifer Aniston's ex Brad Pitt got involved.

Gwyneth told The New York Times that Weinstein had sexually harassed her in a hotel room after hiring her for a lead role in the movie Emma.

"I was a kid, I was signed up, and I was petrified," she said. She later told her then-boyfriend, Brad Pitt, about the incident.

“I told him right away and I was very shaken by the whole thing,” she said. "We were at the opening of Hamlet on Broadway. Harvey was there, and Brad Pitt..." Gwyneth said.

“He said, ‘If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you,’ or something like that," Gwyneth recalled of Brad and Weinstein's interaction.

“It was so fantastic,” she said. “He leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet.”
