John Cena Had To "Earn The Respect" Of 'Fast And Furious' Cast

Earn respect? What the heck is that supposed to mean? Earn respect as an actor? Or as a person who pretends to drive cars around?

I really hope it's not the latter.

Does the 'Fast And Furious' cast actually believe they are their characters?

IMDb

Because apparently, John Cena had to "earn the respect" of the cast in order to "join their family".

You guys do realize this is a movie, right? You guys don't actually drive those cars?

Well, there seems to be some pretentiousness going on over at the set for 'Fast & Furious 9'.

IMDb

Because John Cena had this to say about his experience:

"You kind of have to earn your respect in so many ways, but once you do you are absolutely, unexpectedly welcomed into the family. It’s been really, really special, and I’m very fortunate."

That is, without a doubt, one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.

IMDb

I wish he went into more specifics, like did he have to fight Vin Diesel or something?

Did they actually take part in a street race? Did they haze him or something?

Well anyways, it looks like John Cena is going to replace the Rock in the franchise.

Because apparently, the Rock was too busy for this movie.

I don't know. It's silly to think that they've got this high school-esque B.S. happing on a film set.

Yeesh. Get over yourselves.
