'Beverly Hills Cop 4' Is Actually Being Made Thanks To Eddie Murphy

Another reboot of a classic series, and it's all thanks to Eddie Murphy.

Let's rewind: a while back, Eddie Murphy said that he would only do Beverly Hills Cop 4 if the script was like Goldilocks said: "Just right".

And now this is getting a little tortured, moving on.

So imagine our surprise when he came out and said that he was going to do the movie. I figured "waiting for a good script" was code for "never".

He said in a recent interview:

"We’re doing Beverly Hills Cop and then the plan is to get back on stage and do stand-up."

His plan is to bookend his career with the same stuff that began it.

Yes! He's going to do Coming to America 2!
