You might recall a short span of time back in 2012 that Wendy's had breakfast offerings, but it didn't pan out due to stiff competition.
But, the company's president and CEO Todd Penegor, has high hopes for the new launch.
He said, "Launching breakfast in our U.S. restaurants nationwide provides incredible growth opportunities. We are well-positioned to pursue it. We believe we have the right team and structure in place, and we put Wendy's fan favorites on our breakfast menu to set us apart from the competition."
It looks pretty legit.
It features fried chicken slathered with whipped honey butter, sandwiched between a mouthwatering buttermilk biscuit.
The company plans to hire an additional 20,000 employees across the country to carry out this endeavor. It's also expected that this business move will cost roughly $20 million for the company, but hopefully it will be worth it!
