Eva Longoria Said She Was Bullied On 'Desperate Housewives' Set: It Was "Pure Torture"

Well, this story involves a lot of strife for the young Mexican actress, who had some troubles on the set of Desperate Housewives, apparently.

Poor Eva Longoria, no one deserves to go through that.

Before we get started, let's get something straight.

Bullying is awful, and it shouldn't happen to anyone.

Whether you're a child, teen, or adult, it's always awful, and it always leaves a scar.

Eva Longoria recently came out in an article and said she was bullied on the set of 'Desperate Housewives'.

It was in response to the letter she wrote about Felicity Huffman, who has been going through some troubles of her own recently.

She was part of the college scandal scam.

But that's not the story we want to tell.

Even though Eva's story involves her.

There was this one costar Eva had on Desperate Houswives that she dreaded working with because the costar in question would constantly bully her.

Which, obviously, wasn't great for her.

The bullying kept going on and on until none other than Felicity Huffman stepped in and told the bully to stop.

Which truly shows the good character of Mrs. Huffman.

What did Longoria have to say about it?

“There was a time I was being bullied at work by a co-worker,” Longoria wrote in the letter that was obtained by NBC News.

She talked about how Felicity was the one who came to save her.

“I dreaded the days I had to work with that person because it was pure torture. Until one day, Felicity told the bully ‘enough’ and it all stopped."

Felicity saw the pain in her that no one else saw.

"Felicity could feel that I was riddled with anxiety even though I never complained or mentioned the abuse to anyone."

In fact, even when Eva got snubbed at an awards show, Felicity had her back.

“I was the only one who was left out of the nominations. I wasn’t devastated but the press made it a bigger deal than it was between the four of us actors and that did affect me a bit."

Felicity immediately flew to the rescue.

"Felicity came to my trailer and said, ‘It’s just a piece of metal, that and $1.50 will get you a bus ticket.’ She then proceeded to tell me how talented I was and how I never needed an award to know that,"

And she finished her story with the most heartwarming sentence of all.

“I know I would not have survived those 10 years if it wasn’t for the friendship of Felicity.” she finished.

Eva Longoria was in a lot of pain before Felicity proved herself to be a best friend.

And really, in the end, that's what life is all about: making sure you have good friends stick by you.

Eva and Felicity will probably be friends forever.
