Despite always wanting to be a teacher, modeling sort of just fell in her lap while she was working at a surf shop in California.
In 2006, Teigen was hired as the love interest in Legend's for the music video "Stereo."
They ended up talking the entire shoot and even went out for In-N-Out afterward. Ah, love!
Oh yeah, and Teigen casually admitted that they hooked up, too.

It's crazy enough to think that anyone doesn't like food, but it's even weirder for Teigen to admit since she ended up releasing two cookbooks!

"I wanted to ask him because John isn't sold on the name, so I figured if [Barack Obama] liked it, he would too," she said while on the Stephen Colbert Show.

“I really want to somehow give it back to her, so I tried to bring it to the Grammys and [husband John Legend] said, ‘No! That doesn’t look cool. Please don’t. You’re embarrassing me,’” she joked while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Rihanna, you owe $18 to Bugatti, I think.”
Despite being supermodel-level gorgeous, Teigen has cried over her "imperfections" before.
"There have been times I’ve cried to John, where I felt like I would just never have "that" body," she told Glamour.
"I’ve definitely been really upset with…you know, everyone has a butt now, everyone has curves, and a little waist, and that’s not me."
