Ryan Reynolds And Blake Lively Just Donated $2 Million to Human Rights Organizations

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are total couple goals. Not only do they look like a Disney couple (hello, live-action Tangled, anybody?) but they're also hilarious, down to earth, and, apparently, incredibly generous.

The couple have just made a whopping $2 million donation to a couple human rights organizations.

$1 million each will be going towards the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and the Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights. That's no pocket change!

The couple released a statement alongside their donation.

“We’re blown away by the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and the Young Center’s commitment to not only justice and democracy, but humanity,” they said.

"History’s being written right now. We’re grateful to give back to organizations who give voice to so many.”

“Over the last few years, our perspective has grown and we’ve realized we have to do everything possible to foster more compassion and empathy in this world," the statement read.

Their comment on growth may be referring to the controversy surrounding their wedding location.

In 2012, Blake and Ryan got married on a plantation, which many have criticized as being in poor taste in the past.
