Recently, it was announced by Bleeding Cool's Rich Johnston that there would be a brand new Batman and that he would be black.
Just so you know, this isn't Bruce Wayne.

No, it's a completely original character who's taking up the Batman mantle, a la Nightwing or Azrael.
