Maid Of Honor Dresses Up As A T-Rex To Crash Sister's Wedding

Most brides tend to go a little overboard when it comes to picking the details of their big day. That usually means that their friends serving as bridesmaids end up in a dress that they wouldn't pick for themselves.

So when one bride told her sister, who also happened to be her maid of honor, that she could wear whatever she wanted, she decided to get creative.

Everyone knows that being a bridesmaid means one thing: Buying a dress that you'll never wear again.

Usually, this dress is something that the bridesmaid would never pick out for herself, but she wears it to make the bride happy.

Although, some brides are changing up the traditional bridesmaid dress code.

Some brides are opting for jumpsuits or let their bridesmaids choose their own dress, as long as it matches the wedding's color theme. And then there are those bridesmaids who let their sense of style run wild.

For her sister's wedding, Christina A. Meador took her sister's instructions to "wear anything" she wanted literally.

Christina was serving as the maid of honor and decided to get creative with her outfit.

She walked down the aisle in a giant, inflatable T-Rex costume.

Complete with a sunflower bouquet, of course. Christina says she has "no regrets" about her outfit choice, although we're still waiting to hear how her sister felt about her ensemble.

A friend shared a video to Facebook of Christina waiting by the altar for the rest of the wedding party.

In case you were wondering, no one else decided to experiment with their outfits on this day.

Here's a photo of the entire wedding party during the ceremony.

As far as etiquette goes, I know you aren't supposed to wear white to a wedding, but there aren't any rules about dressing up as a dinosaur as far as I know.

Since sharing pics of her outfit online, Christina's post quickly went viral and racked up thousands of likes, shares, and comments.

Many people felt inspired by Christina's post and might try something similar for their upcoming weddings.

Some even wondered if the whole wedding was dino-themed.

Sadly, it was not, but I would love to see some Pinterest boards for Jurassic weddings to start popping up.

Honestly, I kind of hope this starts a new wedding trend.

How awesome would it be to have dinosaur costumes as required wedding attire? I would take this over an ugly dress any day!

What do you think? Could we start seeing more dapper dinos at weddings?
