It's been a long time coming — 12 years precisely, for The Rock and his longtime partner, Lauren Hashian. But they are officially husband and wife.

Dwayne and Lauren met back in 2006, but didn't actually start dating until Dwayne's divorce from his ex-wife, Dany Garcia, in 2007.

After dating and living together for several years, the pair welcomed their first daughter together, Jasmine, in 2015.

Dwayne has another daughter from his first marriage, Simone, who is now 18 years old.

In 2018, they welcomed their second daughter, Tiana.

"Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world. Tiana Gia Johnson came into this world like a force of nature and Mama @laurenhashianofficial labored and delivered like a true rockstar," he wrote on Instagram.

In 2018, Dwayne referred to Lauren as his wife, which raised a few questions.

As far as we knew, they were not yet married — so him calling her his wife was a bit confusing.

"I just refer to her as my wife all the time," he said.

"So a lot of people are like, 'Oh, did you get married?' I'm like, 'No. Easy. Don't rush big daddy,'" he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Which brings us to now! The couple shared the news of their marriage on Instagram, August 19th.

“We do,” Dwayne captioned the post. “August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. Pōmaikaʻi (blessed).”

Initially, the details of their wedding was kept very under-wraps.

All we knew was that they got married in Hawaii at the end of August and their photos were magical.

But over Labor Day weekend, The Rock took to Instagram to share a few intimate details about his and Lauren's big day that we've been dying to know.

"Our Hawaiian wedding was beautiful and I want to thank our incredible staff for their outstanding work," he wrote.

"To carry out my #1 goal of complete privacy, no wedding planners or outside resources were hired," he explained.

Okay — so it was an inside operation.

"Everything you see was created by hand, by staff and family only."

Only the most trusted members of The Rock and Lauren's circle knew about the details of the wedding.

"The end results were spectacular and @laurenhashianofficial and I will forever be grateful for helping our hearts sing on this day."

Judging by the photos, and with the help of my detective skills, we can piece together a few more key details about the wedding.

"745am and I’m walkin’ that aisle to get married," he shared.

The menu looked delicious and included pancakes, french toast, pastries, fruit, artisanal breads, and more.

They served the food buffet-style, so guests could help themselves and wash it all down with Veuve Clicquot champagne.

And finally, for dessert, they served a white three-tiered wedding cake decorated with stunning white flowers.

He also shared that he served as his own best man and groomsmen.

"I’m blessed with many men who I call friends and a handful who I consider my brother. This time around, I needed to go solo and my groomsmen and best man were the spirits of my loved ones and ancestors who are no longer with us. Felt those men’s spirits with me aaaalll day," he said.
