As you may already know, when you become apart of the royal family, there are certain protocols put in place that you are expected to follow.
As such, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, Archie, is not exempt.
Although Archie was only born a few short months ago, there have already been rules initiated.
She is reportedly contacted using an encrypted telephone to be made aware of the arrival of the baby before anyone else is allowed to know.
While we did hear a few rumors here and there that Meghan was considering a home birth, Archie was born at the Lindo Wing in London's St Mary's Hospital, where Princess Diana had also delivered.
But they can only learn about it through an official statement made by a royal representative, given to specific media outlets. Then Kensington Palace will release the information through their official Twitter account.
The framed note highlights the baby's gender and time of birth.
Over the years, it has slowly become tradition for the royal family member's to only reveal their children's names after at least two days following the birth.
Archie, Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s names were announced two days after they were born, and Prince Louis' name was revealed four days after his birth.
It's protocol that the Queen signs off on the names of the royal children closest in line to the throne.
Ultimately, it will be up to Harry and Meghan to enforce these rules on their son — and so far, they haven't exactly been sticklers of royal tradition.
But here's what's expected to happen:
This isn't a rule that will likely be enforced — unless Archie were to somehow outlive all seven people in line to the throne, I suppose!
This is not a concrete rule, but rather, a royal tradition.
All royal parents have had help from a nanny taking after their children.
Again, this isn't a solid rule. However, most of the royal family is bilingual in English and French, or at least one other language besides English.
The Queen speaks French, Harry can speak Arabic and Meghan is fluent in Spanish.
It's very unlikely that any royal would attend public school, for obvious security reasons. Throughout history, royals have either been home-schooled or attended the UK’s most prestigious private schools.
Bowing down to the Queen is a rule that no royal is exempt from. The youngest generation of royals, including Archie, are expected to start bowing at the age of five.
Princess Charlotte was already curtseying by the age of two!
Archie will eventually need to learn to wave like a royal — yep, that's a thing!
During public sitings, royals often have a graceful, signature wave that they show off to fans and paparazzi.
Let us know what you think of the rules Meghan and Harry's son, Archie, is going to have to follow!
