It's been a long time coming for The Rock and his longtime partner, Lauren Hashian. But they are officially husband and wife.

So, how did we get here? Let's take a little trip down memory lane.

Dwayne and Lauren met back in 2006, but did not start dating until Dwayne's divorce from his ex-wife, Dany Garcia, in 2007.
After dating and living together for several years, the pair welcomed their first daughter, Jasmine, in 2015.

"Christmas came early! Within minutes of being born she was laying on daddy's chest. And being a grateful man takes on a whole new meaning...," wrote on Instagram.
In 2018, they welcomed their second daughter, Tiana.

"Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world. Tiana Gia Johnson came into this world like a force of nature and Mama @laurenhashianofficial labored and delivered like a true rockstar," he wrote.
"Tiana Gia - like I did when your two older sisters Simone Alexandra and Jasmine Lia were born, you have my word, I’ll love, protect, guide and make ya laugh for the rest of my life," he continued.

In 2018, Dwayne referred to Lauren as his wife, which raised a few questions.
"I just refer to her as my wife all the time," he said.

"So a lot of people are like, 'Oh, did you get married?' I'm like, 'No. Easy. Don't rush big daddy,'" he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Which brings us to now!
The couple shared the news of their marriage on Instagram, August 19th.
“We do,” Dwayne captioned the post. “August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. Pōmaikaʻi (blessed).”
Dwayne opened up about his "beautiful" wedding day in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.
"It was a beautiful day and we got married in Kauai," he explained, before jokingly telling the interviewer he should have come.

Jasmine, 3, and Tiana, 1, looked to be having an absolute blast.

Lauren walked down the aisle, reportedly in a lace sheath gown by Mira Zwillinger that cost $12,540.
Dwayne, on the other hand, kept things simple — wearing a white lightweight buttown-down shirt and white Ralph Lauren trousers.

The couple is currently enjoying a low-key honeymoon at The Rock's request.

The Rock went on to explain that he hadn't been able to eat at a restaurant uninterrupted in ages.

He wrote, "Been decades (literally since the late 90’s) I was able to sit in the middle of a restaurant undisturbed, eat, have drinks, watch TV’s above the bar and just relax and enjoy company. "
He and his wife were able to enjoy their meal in private.

"Hell, I was even able to look down on the roads below and people watch as they walked thru town, in a non creepy, but sorta creepy way of course."
He thanked the restaurant for serving them privately.
