Harry Styles' Armpits On The Cover Of Rolling Stone Are Getting A Weird Amount Of Attention

While it looks like that despite rumors to the contrary, Harry Styles will NOT be playing Prince Eric in the live-action Little Mermaid, fans of the former boybander aren't totally lacking things to celebrate. It looks like his second solo album will be coming soon, and along with that news comes a brand new cover feature in Rolling Stone magazine.

Here's the cover.

It has everything Harry Styles' fans could want — a big, happy smile, plenty of tattoos on display, a smiley face made out of his nipples and the antenna of his butterfly tattoo, and, apparently, his armpits.

Yeah. They're going nuts for the armpits. I don't understand it either.

The response has been kind of intense.

I like Harry Styles as much as the next girl (I saw him in concert! I paid for overpriced merch! You can't doubt my credentials) but I felt no strong feelings one way or the other about the armpit action on the cover. I guess I'm just not a true fan.

Some fans felt personally attacked.

Some for vague reasons we probably don't want to know, and others for more concrete reasons, like as one Twitter user wrote, "Why does Harry Styles have less armpit hair than me?"

Other people were more concerned about his nipples.

It turns out that Harry Styles has four nipples, but only three are visible on the magazine cover. For the record: the third one is hiding just below the right wing of his butterfly tattoo. The fourth one is, unfortunately, not in the frame.

Forget the armpits — we should be storming social media in outrage over this lack of nipple representation!
