If you ever wanted to work for the Queen, now is your chance!
The Royal Family is looking to hire a part-time housekeeping assistant at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Queen’s official residence in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Sure, it's not the job of prince or princess or being the Queen's corgi, but it is a chance to get up close and personal with the royal family!
First, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made the decision to basically leave the royal family after years of media scrutiny.
Then, the Firm, as it's sometimes called, began to distance themselves from Prince Andrew following his recent scandal.
The Duke of Edinburgh, who was 99 at the time, passed away "peacefully" on April 9, 2021. He was the lifelong companion of Queen Elizebeth (they wed in 1947) and also the longest-serving consort in British history.
Prince Charles, for example, relies on his team of staff to do simple tasks for him, like ironing his shoelaces and squeezing one inch of toothpaste onto his toothbrush every morning. Seriously.
If you're cleaning skills are up to snuff, you will work 20 hours and four days per week and be paid about CAD$16 per hour.
This is equivalent to what minimum wage will be in the United Kingdom in April 2022.

Interested applicants should have previous experience in the fields of either housekeeping or hospitality, be big on attention to detail (this comes in handy when ironing the family's bedsheets), and enjoy working as part of a team.

We need to know what the Queen throws out on a daily basis (and maybe sell it on eBay).
But working at the Palace of Holyroodhouse won't be an easy gig.
Each year, the palace hosts 8,000 guests for the royal family's annual garden party.
Guests munch on an estimated 15,000 cups of tea, 9,000 strawberry tarts, and 7,000 sandwiches during the event.
