Family Discover That Fallen Grandfather Left Touching Final Christmas Presents

Although it's obviously nice to get a lot of presents at Christmas, there's nothing quite like getting one special gift that someone clearly put a lot of thought and love into.

And when a gift giver really wants to make someone they love cry tears of joy, they'll plan out a special gift for years and wait until that person hits a major milestone in their lives.

But unfortunately, some particularly loving family members have a good reason to plan their special moments so far in advance. And as we'll see in one family's moving series of TikToks, that's because they know they won't be there to give them their presents in person.

On December 28, a woman named Holly Brooke uploaded a TikTok in which she explained that her family recently attended her grandfather's funeral.

But after her cousin looked in his attic, they discovered that he had kept a box of Christmas presents up there all along.

And as the description of her video revealed, at least one of those presents appeared to be from her late grandmother.

As she wrote, "Mine say from Nana who passed in 2015. The rugrats wrapping paper makes me think these are way before then even."

And as the family looked through the box, they found that it wasn't just Brooke's grandparents who were giving them presents from beyond the grave.

That's because the box also contained a card from her great-grandparents, who went by "MeMe and Homer" and who passed away in 2002.

And judging by the year that the cash inside seemed to originate, these gifts may have been waiting to be given since at least the mid-'90s.

And while Brooke's commenters were touched that her grandparents wanted her to feel like they were there in spirit, they were also very curious to see what she got.

She didn't think the results would be that interesting to her followers, but she deeply appreciated the warm blanket and Snuggie she ended up receiving.

As we can see from this follow-up video, she also seemed to agree that her grandparents wanted to give her one last gift they knew she would love. And that seemed especially true since pink is her favorite color.

Although nobody knows just when any of these presents were wrapped, Brooke now knows what her father received as well.

In addition to the powerful flashlight we see at the beginning of this video, they also got him a massage chair and a type of cover to help with his concrete work.

As Brooke wrote in this video's description, "I know he loved having one last Christmas with his parents in a way."
