Buckingham Palace Confirms The Queen Is Moving Forward With Memorial Service For Prince Philip

The first holiday without a loved one can be incredibly difficult. It's so difficult to navigate traditions and special occasions with such a loss in your heart.

In the days before Christmas, it was announced that HM Queen Elizabeth II will be honoring her late husband Prince Philip with a service of Thanksgiving in the spring.

It was announced Thursday that Queen Elizabeth II plans to move forward with a remembrance service to honor her late husband, Prince Philip.

Buckingham Palace announced that the 95-year-old has agreed to hold a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, as per The Mirror.

The highly anticipated event with take place in 2022 at Westminster Abbey, a year after Prince Phillip’s death in April.

With HRH's death happening at the height of the pandemic, it's nice to see that his life will be honored in this way for those who loved and cared for him.
