Come on! I bet you will be excited about it too. So let's find out what sorcery won't have you bawling your eyes out next time you cut onions.

Get a load of this idea.

So apparently, all you need to do is place a damp paper towel on your cutting board. And now, when you cut the onions, you won't actually cry. What? How is that even possible?

Let me tell you how it works.

Apparently, the onion is attracted to the next water source, which in this case, is the damp paper towel. OMG! How did I not know about that? My mind is literally blown here, haha.

So this lady was super excited to try this hack, and she put it to the test.

And guess what? It actually worked! Tada! If you don't think this is absolutely life-changing, I don't know what's wrong with you, lol.

As it turns out, I'm not the only one who just discovered this hack.

There were lots of thankful folks that commented on this video. They were all very happy to hear that a hack like this does exist. I guess they must be sick of crying too.

Except for this person here.

They seem to enjoy that little time they spend crying while chopping onions. Okay! Like that's not weird at all, haha. Now, I get it. Sometimes we all need a little cry therapy. Am I right?

There were some other suggestions people offered too.

Apparently, you can leave the water running in your sink. But if you don't want to waste water you can also put the onion in the freezer for 5 minutes. Supposedly that works too.

So have you tried this onion chopping hack before?

Did it work for you? I'm definitely going to try it out the next time I need to cut onions. I mean, it's worth a try, right? Anything is better than bawling your eyes out for no reason, haha.
