There are few things that make me feel as old as the video I'm about to share with you all. As someone who was born in the nineties, I feel like I fit into the inbetween category of millennials and gen z. I do love TikTok and Instagram, but I don't say words like "doggo" and I don't own any wide-brimmed hats.
Woman Uses 'Retro' iPod Shuffle As A Hair Clip: 'It's Kind Of Vintage'
I grew up in the budding ages of technology. I remember begging my parents for an MP3 player because an iPod was just too pricey.
Enter, the iPod shuffle. This handy, tiny device was the most cost-effective iPod option and was sold as the perfect iPod for those "on the go" who wanted something small to clip onto their clothes.
Of course, iPods are basically fossils at this point — they might as well be called a Walkman.

Now, one woman is going viral after finding an old iPod shuffle and using it as a hair clip in a painfully hilarious video.
"So I found this old, like iPod, I don't know... hair clip, thing?" user @freckenbats can be heard saying in her video.
In the next shot, you can see her using it as a hair clip which made me rethink every life choice I've made up until this point.
"It's kind of vintage," she says to the camera.
The comments were quickly filled with people who were very concerned this wasn't a joke.
Thankfully, the video is seemingly satire as she left a comment saying: "like if you want me to plug this dinosaur in and show you what i listened to at 10 years old."
Gosh, imagine what will happen when kids 20 years from now find a DVD!
