Thanks to his role as James Bond, it's easy to assume that Pierce Brosnan, the Irish hunk, would also be a womanizer.
But it's actually just the opposite. The actor has been absolutely smitten with only one woman for over 20 years: his wife, Keely.
Their love story is nothing short of iconic, making it one for the record books!
The pair connected by fate one night in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Keely was sent to the party Pierce was at as a TV correspondent.
She was supposed to interview Ted Danson, but she ended up connecting with Pierce.
"He was captivating. Tall, dark and handsome, everything that everybody would immediately be attracted to," Keely told People in 2001.
Brosnan was equally smitten. He asked her out on a date, which they had a few days later. There, they sat under the stars and held hands.
"There were fireworks going off over our heads, and Kenny Loggins was singing. We talked until three in the morning," Keely revealed.
Dating a successful movie star isn't easy, but their passion for each other made it work.
"Wherever I went in the world I missed her, and I'd send her tickets to come so we could be together. We just seemed to fit," Pierce said.
Dylan was born on January 13, 1997. He joined Brosnan's blended family, which includes his son, Sean, from a previous marriage, and the children of his late wife, Cassandra.
Pierce adopted her kids, Charlotte and Chris, shortly after they were married.
Pierce and Keely welcomed their second child together, a son named Paris, on February 27, 2001.
Since Pierce grew up without a father, he said he "cherishes family very much" and loves being a dad.
Their super-secretive wedding took place while Pierce was starring in the James Bond films.
They said "I do" in front of 100 guests at Ballintubber Abbey in Ireland. This was after they were forced to postpone their wedding three times.
He didn't hold back during an interview with The Independent on the admiration he has for Keely.
"I love her vitality, her passion. She has this strength that I wouldn't be able to live without. When Keely looks at me, I go weak."
“My wife and I took a short road trip up to Santa Barbara — we were going for a romantic weekend and to look at houses and drink great wine,” Brosnan told People.
“We didn’t listen to any music, but we just listened to the sounds of each other’s voices and sorted out the world.”
"Keely has always been kind and compassionate and encouraged me to mourn Cassie," he told The Sun. "I think of her all the time. I suppose Keely is my North Star, always looking out for me."
To celebrate her 58th birthday, the Mamma Mia actor posted a candid selfie of his wife, alongside a sweet caption.
"My beautiful luscious love Keely on her 58th trip around the sun yesterday… apres swim, making coconut water. Happiest of birthdays it was!"
"Happy anniversary my darling Keely, my love forever grows with you…" the GoldenEye star captioned his post on Instagram.
Keely also posted a touching post. "Still the one! Happy 20th wedding anniversary @piercebrosnanofficial ✨ Thank you for the gift of your love and friendship. The world is more beautiful with you in it! 4-8-94 / 8-4-2001."
