Woman Shares Hilarious Google Form Her Date Sent Before They Got Together

The dating world is a big hassle for a lot of people and that's in no small part because people will often meet folks with weird hang-ups or massive entitlement issues before they actually find someone decent.

But at the same time, there are a lot of people out there so it can sometimes be difficult to stand out from the rest of the pack. And while most weird dates tend to be weird by accident, there is something to be said for approaching your date with an unorthodox strategy.

And in the case we're about to see, it probably helped that our budding couple knew each other beforehand. Nonetheless, one guy's quirky idea actually did a lot to show how thoughtful he is.

On November 8, a TikTok user who goes by @maytheeleven shared a story that began with a friend of hers named Graham asking her out.

And that idea sounded good to her on its own, but it became all the more amusing when he sent her a Google form beforehand to ensure the date fit her preferences.

Despite these thoughtful intentions, Graham was obviously committed to the impersonal tone we tend to see in forms like this.

As the woman said, "He asked what my name is? I sure hoped he knew that answer."

Although they had already agreed to go to dinner and see "Dear Evan Hansen" together, she was impressed by the alternate options he offered.

She also appreciated the food options and the sliding scale of "fancy-schmanciness" he provided, despite wanting to keep the date fairly casual.

As she put it, "He would have shown up in a dress and suit and tie if I selected it, I'm certain of it."

It frankly seems unlikely that he was suggesting he'd wear all three articles of clothing at once, but I guess she knows him better than I do.

Graham also sent a formal invitation for their date after she selected her options, which she joked wasn't such a casual move.

And while their date went about as well as this level of effort and preparation might suggest, it seems that Graham wasn't done yet.

As @maytheeleven said, "And then he followed it up by sending me an exit interview."

Although this list of possible symptoms may seem kind of wacky, it was actually more thoughtful than it seemed because it asked whether her senses of smell and taste were doing OK.

This was included because he knew she had recovered from COVID-19.

All in all, she seemed to think he was quite charming and she definitely appreciated his efforts and the way he committed to the bit.

After all, how do you say no to a post-date exit interview conducted "in the interest of professionalism and giving dating the structure and administrative bureaucracy it has always deserved?"

And as we can glean from the full video available here, it seems this hilarious move has led Graham and his TikTok sweetheart into the start of a new relationship.
