Bride's Biggest Wedding Regret Was Showing People Her Dress Before The Big Day

I know many of you ladies are planning your wedding as we speak. I am doing that, too. So, I have a question for you: will you show your dress to anyone?

I'm here to tell you to think about it for a hot minute. This bride didn't, and she later regretted it. Let's get to the bottom of this story. Shall we?

Nicole Pellegrino got married this year on September 4.

Everything went off without a hitch after the couple postponed their wedding due to the pandemic. But Pelligrino had one regret about the wedding that she shared with her TikTok audience.

She wishes that she never shared photos of her dress before the wedding.

Nicole ended up showing the dress to everyone and anyone who asked to see it. And she never thought about it much, really, but that was a mistake.

Here's her reasoning for it.

She said that not everybody would agree with your choice of the dress, the hair, and your entire attire. And even if they don't want you to know it, it will somehow show on their faces.

Why?

It's because, according to Nicole, "People are bad liars." Ha, ha! So what's the problem with that? Well, I don't know about you, but I don't want to see that. That's especially true if your heart is set on that particular dress.

In that situation, some brides might start to second-guess themselves.

And that's literally the worst thing I can think of, no? I mean, imagine the horror of now deciding to get another dress? Oh, no! I can't handle that. Please, no!

That's why I showed my dress to a total of two people.

Yes, that's right. Only my mom and my MIL saw it. I never sent any pictures of the dress to anybody for fear of it leaking before the big day.

After Nicole posted her video, many brides-to-be chimed in.

They thanked Nicole for her advice and vowed to do what she told them to. I'm so happy to hear that because I wouldn't want anyone's opinion to ruin their dress shopping experience.

Unfortunately, there were plenty of brides who already made the same mistake.

And as you might have guessed it, lived to regret it, too. Some of them shared their experience, and I'm so shocked people would do things as they described.

So let this be a warning to you, fellow brides.

Be careful who you show your wedding dress before the big day. After all, you wouldn't want their opinion of it to sway you in the wrong direction, huh? I choose to keep mine as a surprise because it's more fun that way.
