Mariah Carey Claps Back At Bar Banning 'All I Want For Christmas' In Twitter Video

For many people, Christmas simply cannot come early enough — and one of those people is, of course, Mariah Carey.

However, after one bar in Texas went viral for banning the song All I Want For Christmas Is You, Mariah clapped back at the bar in a truly spectacular fashion involving a baseball bat and a series of pumpkins.

A bar in Texas called Stoneleigh P banned the classic Christmas hit from being played before December 1st.

For a lot of people, this news comes as music to our ears...ironically.

Stoneleigh P recently went viral after a picture was shared of a sign in the bar claiming that Mariah Carey's holiday hit "will be skipped" if it is played before December 1st.

Christmas fanatics across the globe were quick to lose their minds.

Yes, the Christmas obsessives were rather put out that, should they attend the bar, they would not be able to hear the incessant sounds of Carey's ear-splitting tune two months before the holiday is it written for.

In response to the temporary ban, Carey filmed a video response.

The video, shown below, sees Carey smashing up a pumpkin with a very specific message in order to let people know that it apparently is time to start playing the tune that haunts our brains throughout the Christmas period...hooray.

The bar's owner has also since clarified that they don't actually hate Christmas.

"[The sign] been put up three years now, maybe four, every holiday season we hear the song so much when you get alcohol involved," Stoneleigh P’s general manager told the Washington Post. "It's like a family inside joke that went viral."

The song certainly divides the general public.

While some people were genuinely offended that the bar would not play this song until a reasonable date, there were a lot of people who were glad of the ban.

Can you listen to Christmas music in November? Be sure to let us know in the comments!
