Every relationship in life is different. Some people do things one way in their relationship, and others want to do things a completely different way. While everyone has different experiences, sometimes some of these experiences can be rather traumatic and unfair.
But, it takes time for us to realize that they are the wrong thing for us in life.
When we are young, we think everything is true love. We also think that some bad behavior can be pushed aside and accepted because we don't want to give up what we feel is "true love." But, in the end, these experiences are totally unhealthy and traumatic.
While we may know it's not the best for us at that given time, it takes us a while to muster up the courage and the strength to leave and move on. It takes us even longer to admit it was totally crazy for us to stay in the first place.
In the video, she showcases the entire incident and basically makes a "what was I thinking" face throughout the TikTok video. Many people online were shocked that someone would ever have the audacity to ask this of someone they are in a relationship with.
TikTok user Chantel shared that she was recalling a time when she was out to dinner with her and his mother, only for them both to manipulate her and "convince her" to allow the boyfriend to cheat on her as his birthday gift.
A TikTok user commented on the video saying she absolutely needed every detail of the conversation because, yes, we do, too. There is no world in which I would allow someone to share this without giving all the dirty details.
Chantel said that at the time she was only 15-years-old and her boyfriend was 18-years-old. They went to dinner with his mom, who he didn't have a close relationship with because he had been taken by CPS as a child.
The dinner, for his 18th birthday, was to mend a relationship with his mother. But, also for a strange request. Chantel said that for his 18th birthday he would be going to some clubs, that she couldn't go to because she was only 15.
Chantel was confused by the "full club experience." The mom said that her son basically wanted to go out with his friends, flirt with girls, and bring some random girls home—making it the "full club experience."
At first, she thought he was breaking up with her at dinner with his mom and her boyfriend, but it turns out, he just wanted her blessing to go to the clubs and cheat on her—since, she couldn't even go.
Wow. Just wow.
Many said that at 15, they had no idea what was right or wrong, so how should Chantel know? Others said her ex was gross for prying on her so young, even if he was only 3 years older.
Another person said its gross how some men think it is okay to sleep with other women when they have a girlfriend—many said it's a lack of respect thing and other people agreed.
