In the years following his death, Paul's memory has been cemented in pop culture history by his Fast & Furious costars, most notably Vin Diesel, who has continued to speak of his friend and highlights Paul's philanthropic passions.
Since Paul's passing, Vin Diesel has stepped up into a father-like role for the 22-year-old. This special bond was highlighted when Meadow tied the knot this past weekend.
In 2019, Vin Diesel posted a photo of Meadow on Instagram for her 21st birthday.
"I could say that I am so proud of the person you are becoming... but the truth is I have always been proud of you. Love you kid," the actor wrote at the time.
"She takes good care of me," the father of three revealed. "She's the first person on Father's Day to wish me a happy Father's Day."
Just one month later, the love birds announced their engagement in an Instagram video.
Speaking with Vogue, the 22-year-old explained how the pandemic affected their wedding plans.
"A lot of close friends whom we consider family were also unable to attend due to travel restrictions."
Naturally, fans of the franchise were overjoyed to see the on-screen friendship translate to real life.
Such a beautiful and emotional moment on one of Meadow's happiest days — I just know Paul was looking down on them all and was so proud!
"To finish the night, there was a wonderful display of fireworks, and we lit lanterns into the picturesque night sky," she explained.
"And honestly it was easy and simple. Louis and I knew exactly what we wanted from the start. It was a very intimate celebration.
Meadow can be seen hugging and greeting her guests, including Jordana.
