Gucci Is Selling Hairy Slippers That Look Like Cousin It For $1000

Hey, wanna see something super messed up?

Then you're in the right place. Gucci recently re-released a pretty hot item from their vault: the Princetown slipper in "beige."

I know what you're thinking: all this over a slipper? A BEIGE slipper? Oh, my friends. It's so much worse than just a beige slipper.

I just want to prepare you for how awful these slippers are.

I was not prepared when I first came across them, and I paid the price. These shoes are a friggin' jump scare, guys. They are in no way "beige," and BARELY resemble shoes.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

Um...yeah, I tried to prepare you, but there's only so much I could say to brace you for impact here. These are the single weirdest shoes I've ever seen, and I have seen some damn weird shoes.

In case you were wondering, they ARE awful from every angle!

Here's what Gucci has to say about these monstrosities:

"The Princetown slipper is presented in beige faux fur—a celebration of the last six years, the shoe is an ode to both the House's past and present."

Okie dokie.

They aren't even lined.

Like, there's nothing on the inside of these. It's all fur. The inside, the outside, the sole...other than that one bit of leather that says "Gucci," the whole shoe is faux fur. My feet are sweating just LOOKING at these.

PRESENTING: The stuff my Twitter followers said these shoes resemble.

First up: the CLASSIC Cousin It reference. You can really see the resemblance here, especially in the "eyes." Buy a pair of these and get your Addams Family cosplay on, baby.

I'm partial to this comparison.

Even though the color is wrong, the energy here is so right. The Abominable Snowman from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer haunts my dreams. I hate the way he talks, and he just LOOKS matted. I imagine the slippers will look like him after one wear, tbh.

This exchange was deeply cursed.

What on EARTH happened to Chewbacca and WHY does he have human teeth? I am so creeped out right now. Anyway, Emily was a troll about it, but I appreciated her input — even if I had to look at fake Chewbacca's teeth to get it.

They would pair nicely.

Jordan here decided to make a whole outfit out of it. I can see the fantasy happening here for sure. It definitely needs some kind of hat, though. Maybe one of those weird raccoon tail hats?

If you've decided you want these cursed things, they're for sale now.

Sadly, they're available in-store only, so you'll have to venture into public (shudder) to buy them in person. Ugh, the struggle is so real.

Oh, they're also $995.

Good luck with that!
