'Char-Spookerie' Is My New Favorite Halloween Snack

Look, I'm a simple woman, okay? I don't need a whole lot in this world. I like meats. I like cheese. I like Halloween. I like charcuterie boards. I like spooky food things. To be fair, who doesn't like the things I just mentioned? NOBODY!

Now, get ready to tantalize your tastebuds and your eyes with a new food trend you'll have to see to believe.

It's that time of year again. A time when the only thing I want to do is wear sweaters, drink wine, and eat cheese and cured meats.

IT'S FALL, FRIENDS!

And what better way to ring in the spooky season than with a charcuterie platter themed around everyone's favorite holiday — Halloween!

In a post that has since gone viral by Twitter user @StormyKittyhawk, the world has been introduced to Char-Spookerie.

Yep, it's just haunted charcuterie. And by haunted, I mean it's various cured meats draped on a plastic skeleton.

Or, you can go for a more full-on effect, and user the skeleton as a centerpiece, as user @warmeggy's mother did a few years back,

WHY HAVEN'T I THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE?!

Or, you can go the extra mile and make a FACE OUT OF CREAM CHEESE AND MEAT!

Well, I'll be having nightmares about this prosciutto face for a few days at least, but I'm sure it tasted delicious.
