Teacher Discovers Creepy Doll Holding A Note Behind Wall Of New House

Moving into a new home can be a very stressful time, and one thing that we could all do without at such a time is discovering that our new house may be haunted.

However, one primary school teacher was recently left stunned when, in the process of knocking down a wall of his new home, he found an old doll with a terrifying message for him.

The weirdness began when Jonathan Lewis decided to investigate the boarded-up space under his new home's staircase.

Jonathan Lewis, from the UK, noticed that there was a fair amount of space underneath his new staircase, so decided to take a hammer to the wall to see what was behind it.

Lewis has clearly not seen many horror movies, as everyone knows that you leave anything that has been purposefully boarded up well alone!

After eagerly bashing a hole in the wall, Lewis was startled to find a doll staring back at him.

At this point, most people would have boarded the hole back up, called a priest, and put the house back on the market.

However, Lewis decided to investigate further as he noticed that the little doll was holding a note.

After retrieving the note, Lewis found that it claimed the doll had murdered the previous tenants.

As the note above details, the pinstripe-dress-wearing doll goes by the name "Emily" and she is a big ol' fan of knives. How wonderful.

Lewis calmly told the Liverpool Echo: "I kind of knew there was this void underneath the stairs that had been plaster boarded up.

"There was a wire coming out where the previous owners had the fridge but I didn't know where the wire was plugged in so I knocked through a bit of the plasterboard to see what was there [...] I knocked through a hole about the size of a fist, shone a light in and there was a doll just sitting there."

Lewis' friends have since told him to get the hell out of his new home.

"Some of my friends have told me to put my house back on the market and move out but I think it's just a laugh," Lewis said to the Echo. "I'll be honest, I found the whole thing hilarious. I'd probably do the exact same thing."

Would you be keen to stay, or would you be calling a friend to stay over?

Lewis' friends seem to have the right idea — although, if Emily does turn out to be a living doll hell-bent on destruction then he could at least start charging her rent for the time being!
