Disney World Guest Gets Caught Sneaking Into Restricted Section

The thrill of a trip or a vacation can have us feeling alight with excitement. We want to see all the sights, experience every avenue available to us, and truly make the most of our time somewhere away from home.

One influencer maybe got a little too excited when visiting Disney World in Orlando, and wound up trespassing atop one of Disney's most famed buildings.

The magic of Disney's parks can be a powerful force.

But that's no excuse to let your ambitions get the better of you. Pulling a wrong move or worse, a dangerous stunt, can get you into some steep trouble.

That's what happened to one Disney World guest who was caught on camera going somewhere he shouldn't have.

TikTok user @princessshannon posted a video of a park visitor in a forbidden area.

The man was seen walking along the upper balcony of Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom area of Disney World in Orlando. He pauses in the center and poses with his arms out for a moment.

A text-to-speech voice reads out, "We saw a guy just walk up onto the castle..."

He isn't there long, though.

"What is he doing up there?" an onlooker asks as he gives a quick wave before turning around to leave.

As he heads towards the stairs and starts making his way down, Shannon is heard saying, "Ooo, he's in trouble. He knows he's in trouble [...]."

Shannon made a follow-up video answering some of the frequently asked questions about the man.

"We saw him near the gate to where you can climb up on [the castle], and a cast member was telling him not to go up there but then I guess he just did it anyway," she explains.

"Well he got all the way up there and started doing his little princess wave, [...] so then a lady cast member came over who had a radio and started calling security on him, so he got a little scared and started walking down."

He apparently tried to casually leave once down.

"Once he got down then he kinda walked past the cast member and then just started going about his day again," Shannon says, "We don't know what happened after that, but I mean, I have a feeling that security tracked him down later and he got in trouble.

So I hope it was worth it for him. At least he got one little video of him waving goodbye to Disney forever."

More details were given in a comment of the second video by Shannon herself.

She writes, "So someone commented saying he's a very popular [Instagram] influencer from Argentina...he had posted it on his [Instagram] story and now is Disney banned for 6 months."

Another comment said they saw him being escorted out of the park by numerous security officers later that day.

Some people commented on the seemingly easy access to the balcony with the staircase leading up.

But checking Disney’s Inside the Magic blog confirms that the balcony is off-limits to guests.

"Even though this balcony area is accessible for Cast Members, it is restricted to guests at all times," it reads.

The comments were pretty divided about whether they loved or hated his actions.

"3 words that should ALWAYS be respected at Disney: Cast Members Only!" wrote one user, "See that anywhere [then] stay out or you're just asking for trouble/to get banned."

"[Some] of [y'all] Disney Park fanatics need to chill out [it's] a building which you don't even own," said another.

No matter your opinion, it's safe to say the man got his just desserts.

In fact, most people assumed he'd get a lifetime ban for this stunt, so only being banned for six months was him being let off easy.

This is also a nice lesson in respecting employees. If an employee tells you not to go somewhere, don't go!
