The 'Spooky Bucket Challenge' Is Taking Over TikTok This Fall

I know it's not even October, so why should you think about Halloween already? Well, because it's fun, okay? Get off my back! Seriously though, I love everything associated with spooky stuff and, naturally, Halloween.

So this latest TikTok challenge has me excited for a reason. It's the reason to go crazy for the spooky season, and that's music to my ears.

I don't know about you, but one thing I look forward to in October is Halloween.

It's my favorite occasion of the whole year, and I tend to take it very seriously ha, ha! So why am I obsessed with this "holiday?" Let me tell you.

I grew up in Eastern Europe, and get this — we didn't celebrate Halloween!

I know, sad but true. So once I came to Canada and found out about it, I was all over it. I mean, what is there to not like?

You get to dress up in whatever outfit you want, roam the streets at night, and get candy from people.

Um, hello, I love that. So, needless to say, I go crazy for Halloween every year. And that's why this latest TikTok challenge is right up my alley.

Okay, let me tell you all about it.

Apparently, you're supposed to get one of those jack-o'-lantern pails and fill it up with Halloween-inspired stuff in 30 minutes while spending 30 dollars or less. That's some kind of challenge. Am I right?

I think we all have our work cut out for us, huh?

I mean, I can spend countless dollars on all the fun and spooky stuff. So for me, the real challenge would be to stay on budget ha, ha!

But before you get happy, one thing you need to know.

You don't get to keep the stuff. You're supposed to exchange this bucket with your loved one. So you go shopping for your Boo, and in return, your Boo gets to pick spooky stuff for you. Get it?

Isn't that such a fun idea or what?

I would love to do this with my fiancé. I'm pretty sure both of us would get a kick out of it. But as I said, it will be challenging not to spend more than $30.

Here's how you can do it, though.

It's a good idea to stick to more budget-friendly stores like Walmart, Target, or the dollar store if you're really cheap, ha, ha. Then, you can pick candles, funny socks and lots of candy.

So are you up for this fun and spooky Halloween-themed challenge?

Sign me up! I'm totally running this idea by my fiancé, and he better say "yes" to it, ha, ha or else. Do you know what I mean? I hope your partner will be up for it too. I'm crossing my fingers for you.
