Rapper Has Gold Chains Surgically Implanted Into His Scalp Like Hair

It's a digital age where any one person can find an infinite amount of unique, standout content that makes them go 'wow'. Some people, in realizing this, figure that if they want fame, they need to market themselves as something truly special.

This is best seen in one rapper who thought the best way to make himself stand out would be to replace his head of hair with a head of chains.

In today's modern world, up-and-coming artists are vying for their piece of the spotlight.

And many will seemingly do anything to get it. Whatever makes them unique and memorable in their audience's eyes, they're willing to try.

Including one rapper who sought out an extreme alternative to traditional looks in order to fully realize his image.

Meet Dan Sur, a reggaeton rapper and producer.

He recently went viral after uploading pictures and videos of his new hairstyle, which doesn't involve hair at all.

Instead, he has dozens of chains hanging from his head, which he claims are dangling from surgically implanted hooks that keep them up.

Caracol TV claims he had the surgery in April of this year.

"I have it as a hook that is implanted in my head and that hook has hooks and they are all hooked in my skull, under my skin," he explained in one of his videos.

According to MTO News, Sur said he wanted to look like he'd come 'straight out of a jewelry store'.

"The truth is that I wanted to do something different because I see that everyone dyes their hair," he said. "I hope not everyone copies me now."

"This is my hair. Golden hair. The first rapper to have gold hair implanted in human history."

He's been happily showing off his new style since he got it.

His social media pages are filled with photos and videos of him rocking the gold chains, often sporting gold grills, chains around his neck, or other statement jewlery to match.

He clearly doesn't regret the decision and is living his best life with a head full of metal.

The move seems to have worked in regards to his career, too.

Before he revealed the look, he had around 12,000 followers on TikTok. After his initial virality and continuing fame, he now has over 1.9 million.

He now gains hundreds of thousands of views on every video he posts, whether it be his music promotion or answering fan questions.
