You see, this handy lady is doing something amazing to help the homeless population in her community. She's actually reusing plastic bags to make sleeping mats for those in need.

OMG, isn't that so fantastic? What a great idea, huh?

Okay, so how does she make these sleeping bags, you ask? Let me tell you all about it. Jen cuts the bags in strips and weaves them as you would do with a blanket.

Essentially, she is making a mat from the plastic bags.

Jen says that these mats use up plastic that would otherwise just sit in trash cans and roadsides. Isn't that the truth, huh? What a smart lady.

Wow, this is so cool!

Not only that, but because these mats are plastic, they are also super durable for any sort of weather. That's fantastic, right?

And on top of that, they're also really comfy and squishy. They're also light to carry around, unlike a heavy mattress or a regular sleeping bag.

Wow, I've never would have considered that.

That's pretty genius idea for her to think of, huh? So far, Jen has used 1,500 bags to make seven sleeping bags, but she needs our help. She's running out of bags, so she needs donations ASAP.

If you want to help out, Jen has setup up a P.O box where you can send her your unwanted bags. Feel free to send the bags here: Jennifer P.O. Box 24768, 1001 Gayley Ave. Ste. 105, #24768, Los Angeles, CA 90025.

So far, Jen's appeal on TikTok has racked up over 400,000 views.

She actually had to set up the P.O box because of the wonderful response she has received. Aww, it's so awesome to hear that people are really trying to help out.

Eventually, Jen plants to post a video tutorial to show folks how to make the sleeping bags.

She hopes that people all over will start making them and give them out to others in need. That is another amazing idea, no?

So what do you think of this?

I'm so impressed by the creativity and the drive of this young woman. I wish more people in the world were as thoughtful as she is. We need more amazing acts of kindness like these. Do you agree with me on this?
