Bride And Groom Get Roasted For 'Trashy' Wedding Invites With F-Bombs Galore

Traditionally, weddings are meant to be a classy affair. That's not to say that you can't get blackout wasted while shoving your face into a chocolate fountain, you just most likely will do that while in a nice cocktail dress and heels.

However, it seems many couples today are trying to force themselves from the tradition of elegant affairs and are instead trying really, really hard to seem like they don't care.

I'm a big believer in *your* wedding, *your* rules.

There was nothing worse than trying to appease my family and my husband's family when we were planning our nuptials. I learned early on that I wasn't going to make everyone happy, and that I had to be okay with that.

However, there are some things that most people *will not* like at your wedding.

For example, if you hire a DJ that only plays show tunes, you may be in for a night of eye-rolling and an empty dancefloor.

If you cater your event with veggies cups and individual bags of chips, people may leave to eat at a restaurant.

And, if you cuss out your guests in your wedding invitations, they may not even want to come to the big day.

That's exactly what happened when Reddit user @ScaredNapkin posted a picture of the invite they received for their cousin's upcoming wedding.

It was... aggressive, to say the least.

"My cousin sent this along with her wedding invitations... I will not be in attendance," @ScaredNapkin wrote. For the sake of the friendly nature of this article, I will not be filling in the blanks.

Under the header 'Dietary Requirements' the invite reads: "Eat what you're given, you fat [explective]. The dress code tells guests: "Wear whatever the [explective] you want. Go butt [explective] naked for all we care."

Kids aren't welcomed at the celebration, with the invite reading: "Children: Leave your little [explective] at home. We want to get [explective] up. (We will turn you away)."

And when it comes to hotels and taxis, guests are told to 'Google it, you lazy [explective]''.

Of course, the only part of the invite not riddled with curse words and condescending name-calling is the section about gifts.

"If you wanted to give us a wedding gift, a contribution to our honeymoon would be perfect."

AS IF!

Naturally, people were appalled by what they were reading.

"I never understand this kind of thing," one user wrote."We get it, you're the cool couple who doesn't care about formalities. It's just so aggressively far over the line."

"I feel like they’re the kind of people who think they’re hilarious when they’re just rude. I wouldn’t go to this," echoed another,

The comments were filled with people calling the invite "trashy" and "cringe" — a harsh judgement I couldn't agree with more.

What do you make of the invites? Did you think it was funny, or over-the-top? Let us know in the comments down below!
