Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton recently tied the knot. Of course, you know this already considering it was one of the biggest celebrity events of 2021. Hey, don't look at me at like — it's been a slow year!
Now, Gwen is facing backlash after she photoshopped herself into an old picture of Blake from an event he attended with his first wife, Kaynette Williams.
Regardless if there are ex-partners, former friendships, or previous careers in our closet, we all have mistakes we've made or even things that just didn't work out.
Take Blake Shelton for example!
His first wife and high school sweetheart Kaynette Williams were married from 2003 to 2006. As we all know, Blake would go on to marry country singer Miranda Lambert from 2011 to 2015.
Now, Blake has found his happily-ever-after with his current wife, Gwen Stefani.
As fans will recall, the No Doubt founder was married to Gavin Rossdale from 2002 to 2016. The pair have three children together, to who Blake has seemingly taken very well to!
If you thought they looked like a mismatched pair now, just imagine what they would have looked like together back then.

"Disrespectful and unnecessary. He had his life before you, no need to be jealous," tweeted one user.
"Gwen's photoshopped pics seem desperate. It's almost as if photos of Blake with the previous women in his life is a threat to her in some way. So much time and effort spent trying to erase the past. That's just pointless," echoed another.
However, many fans agreed it seemed strange to use a picture from an event he attended with his ex-wife in the first place.
"Bunch of jealous people that need to get a life. It’s a joke people, calm down…" tweeted one fan.
"This is such a cute picture and you are such a talented woman I'm just happy that you found somebody that brings so much to you and your sons," echoed another.
Back in September 2020, she reposted this fan-made picture of the pair.
