'Karen' Actually Decided To Bother A Neighbor Over A 'Tigger Flag'

More and more, we see videos of people in neighborhoods putting their opinions onto others by things they do not like or find "offensive."

While many times the things happening are not offensive, we can't help but wonder where people feel they can get off sticking their nose where it does not belong.

Of course, 2020-2021 can easily be summed up as the year of the Karen.

The name Karen, I'm sure will be dying out before we know it.

It has been associated with so many bad stories now, that it'll be hard to name your kids that.

And we are here to tell you all about another tale of the frightening Karen.

Recently, one TikTok user shared a video of her own neighborhood "Karen."

TikToker Ambrosia, a black social media user, shared a video on her account of an older white woman knocking on her door and bothering her over a flag that she had put on her home.

The flag in question had the beloved Winnie the Pooh character, Tigger.

Which, if you ask me, is a pretty great flag to have on your door.

In the video, the Karen in question knocks on Ambrosia's door.

When the homeowner opens her door, the woman says that she "wants to talk about the Tigger flag," adding that she "does not like it."

First of all, who doesn't like Tigger? He is a beloved family member to many of us, right?

However, Karen did like one thing.

Karen told Ambrosia that she "likes the American flag," but she does not like the Tigger flag at all.

She also added that the Tigger flag is against the rules of the neighborhood.

She cited the town's "rules,"—whatever those are.

She even threatened to "go find out."

Which, if we're being completely honest, seems like a waste of time. This flag is hurting literally no one. It's a cartoon character!

"We have rules. I don’t want to have to go find out what they are, but I don’t like that," the lady said.

She also told the homeowner that her Tigger flag makes the neighborhood "look tacky."

Ambrosia kept her cool the whole time, though.

“It doesn’t [look tacky], but that’s okay. You’re allowed your opinion.”

She also wished the Karen a "good day" when she finally decided to leave and stop harassing her over something as small as a Tigger flag.

TikTok at first banned Ambrosia for posting the video.

After she shared the video, Ambrosia's TikTok account was banned. However, she appealed the ban and the video was once again restored, along with her account.

Many people online thought this Karen had absolutely lost her mind for being so angry over *Winnie the Pooh* characters.

So of course, because we live in the age of memes, people on the internet immediately deiced to begin creating memes to troll her.

One person made a total Karen meme, saying that she wanted to "speak to the manager of the neighborhood about this flag."

Clearly, this Karen is a "speak to the manager" type of lady, and she ain't afraid to show it.

Others pointed out that this woman is totally entitled.

One person said this woman is displaying an "astonishing display of self-entitlement" because she does not live in the house, nor does she pay the taxes for the house.

So the fact that she feels the need to say she wants their flag removed is very haughty.

However, one person made a valid point.

One Twitter user pointed out that today, many people think that complaining in person is the same as complaining online

People believe you can hide behind your keyboard with no repercussions.

But these people don't see that they look totally foolish and silly.

And while it may make for some hilarious viral videos or memes, in the long run, it's just not a good thing.

But I will say this: long live the Tigger flag!

Now, we want to hear from you. What do you think about this whole situation? Who do you think is overreacting?
