Apparently Hollywood Doesn't Shower As Jake Gyllenhaal Finds 'Bathing To Be Less Necessary'

Now look, I'm not one to judge people, okay? I know that sounds fake, but I truly believe in letting people just live their lives while I live mine. However, I'm only human — I am not perfect! I do find myself passing judgment at some celebrities for doing questionable things, and the latest trend of not showering is one of them.

As you've most likely seen by now, several Hollywood celebs have offered up their hygiene routines.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher started the unfortunate trend of sharing how often they bathe themselves and their kids, Kirsten Bell and Dax Shepard chimed in a few days later.

Now, Hollywood hottie Jake Gyllenhal is weighing in on the debate.

While (rather ironically) promoting his new campaign for Prada's Luna Rossa Ocean fragrance, Jake admitted he doesn't find the alarming trend of not-so-often showers to be that outlandish.

"I always am baffled that loofahs come from nature. They feel like they've been made in a factory but, in fact, it’s just not true," he explained.

"Since I was young, it's amazed me. More and more I find bathing to be less necessary, at times. I do believe, because Elvis Costello is wonderful, that good manners and bad breath get you nowhere," he added, as per Too Fab.

"So I do that. But I do also think that there's a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves."

Of course, it didn't take long for the memes to start online.
