Woman Spends Months Crocheting An Entire Coral Reef That Glows In The Dark

I mean this with the utmost reverence, respect, and love: crocheters are insane people.

The things they create are just next-level. From undersea creatures to potholders, crocheters can and will crochet their entire home.

Case in point: this TikTok user, who showed off their mom's latest project: an ENTIRE CROCHET CORAL REEF.

This is just the beginning.

If you're looking at this and thinking, "Wow, that's amazing," just you wait. These pieces right here are just the building blocks, if you can believe it.

There's even a little Nemo!

Yup, user @nlaitran's mom added sea creatures to her coral reef, too. I've never knit or crocheted a thing in my life, but this has me wanting to start ASAP.

Seriously, I cannot express how detailed this is.

This must have taken her HOURS to do. Days. Months, even. Each individual piece of coral is so detailed and so intricate, and they're just small parts of one giant piece!

Oh, and the whole thing glows in the dark.

Because that wasn't enough, the whole thing actually glows beautifully under blacklight.

What do you think of this amazing piece? Would you attempt making something like this? Let me know!
