Have you ever been told by a stranger that you look like a celebrity? Viral TikToker and fitness expert Lisa Tranel certainly has — by close to 7 million different people.
After a comedic video of Lisa's went viral, her followers began to notice her uncanny resemblance to Jennifer Aniston. It's what drove Lisa to make a TikTok video impersonating the former Friends star and the resemblance is uncanny.
Up until recently, the majority of Lisa's posts revolved around the fitness world. She also makes comedic videos with her friends and family about what it's like to be single and trying to date.
After Lisa began posting on the regular, some of her followers within the TikTok community started to notice that she bore a striking resemblance to former Friends star, Jennifer Aniston. So Lisa decided to make a new video addressing the comments.
The clip in question is from the Season 3 episode titled "The One Where Chandler Can't Remember Which Sister." In the scene, Jennifer Aniston's iconic character, Rachel Green, is complaining to Monica about how demeaning and degrading her new job is.
"I want to quit, but then I think I should stick it out," Tranel mouths to the camera. "Then I think, why would such a person stay in such a demeaning job just because it's remotely related to the field they are interested in?"
The oddest part about Lisa's newfound doppelganger fame is that she doesn't actually see the resemblance at all. Supposedly, neither does her family. According to an article posted by HITC, Lisa referenced her TikTok video in a recent Instagram story.
"For the record, I don't really feel like I look like Jennifer Aniston. and my family really doesn't either," Lisa explained. But although Lisa might not be able to see it, her followers most certainly can.
TikTok user @monica1810 wrote, "You and Jennifer Aniston are 2 seconds from being the same person." Other people seemed incredibly confused and questioned at what point did Jennifer Aniston join TikTok?
The hype has become so crazy that Lisa has had to amend her TikTok bio (which has more than 200K followers) so that it reads "Not Jennifer Aniston."
Before you say anything — no, this isn't a picture of Ariana Grande. The young woman that you see is actually a fashion model named Paige Niemann, whose incredible resemblance to pop star Ariana Grande has helped make her a social media sensation.
The resemblance is so startling that even Ariana Grande herself has commented on some of Paige's posts in the past. Judging from this photo, they could be long-lost twins!
From certain angles, these two are indistinguishable! Priscilla's video of her Rihanna impersonation already has more than 100K plays and counting. One of her followers remarked that Priscilla looks more like Rihanna than even Rihanna herself!
The business mogul and pop star eventually caught wind of the video, and began trolling Priscilla about when she planned on dropping her new album: "where the album sis? #R9," Rihanna joked in the comments.
But with the play counts racking up by the millions, Jen is bound to encounter Lisa's impersonation of her sooner or later. Who knows, maybe this will be the catalyst that the former Friends star needs to finally join TikTok!
