Giving birth is a life-altering event. While it's truly the miracle of life, it can also be extremely painful and complicated for many women — no matter how they give birth. Vaginal births vs. caesarean sections have been long debated in many medical and social circles, but I'm here to remind you all that all types of birth are as exhausting as they are magical.
Now, Amy Schumer is celebrating National Bikini Day by sharing a picture of her c-section.
The comedian, wife, and mother isn't afraid to get candid on social media — it's one of the many reasons people love her so much!
Her honesty, especially in regards to her pregnancy, is why the 40-year-old has over 10 million Instagram followers.
Amy's journey of navigating a new marriage, a booming career, and her first baby ended up becoming an HBO series.

A lot of people found it relatable, and really appreciated the fact that she was getting transparent about what pregnancy is really like.
She is getting very real about her body, and needless to say, fans absolutely love to see that side of her.
As fans may recall, Amy welcomed son Gene Fischer back in 2018.

Sharing a never-before-seen pic from the day her son was born, Amy had friends, family members, and followers alike laughing while also sharing an important message.
