Meghan Markle And Prince Harry's Former Chief Of Staff Shares Her Experience Working For Them

It's no secret Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are two of the most talked-about celebrities in the world. Of course, people want to know everything about them — I know that, you know that, and the tabloids know that.

So when I saw their former chief of staff had spoken out about their experience working for the Royal pair, I knew I had to take a deep dive.

The British tabloids are never short on a slanderous story about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

It's clear the pair can't even pack up and begin their own lives without a frenzy of rumors, conspiracies, and hateful stories being written about them daily.

As a fan of this sweet family, I truly hate to see what they've ednoured.

Don't even get me started on the plethora of news stories from "sources" that have tried to take M+H down.

Remember just days after Meghan gave birth to her baby girl, Lilibet Diana, the tabloids were saying the pair never asked the Queen for permission to use her childhood nickname?

"Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet," the pair said at the time of their daughter's birth.

Naturally, fans of the Royal family loved the name and the significant meaning behind it.

However, in typical U.K. tabloid fashion, the press started spreading rumours that Meghan and Harry did not consult with Her Majesty about using her intimate nickname.

Aa fans of the royals may know, Princess Elizabeth referred to herself as a Lilibet when she was too young to properly pronounce her own name. According to Vanity Fair her father, then the Duke of York, affectionately referred to his eldest daughter as Lilibet and continued to call her by the name when he became King.

The late Prince Philip also used to call his wife Lilibet.

Just hours after news broke of Lilibet's birth, the press began to speculate that the name was an insult to the Queen, or even worse, that the pair didn't even ask to use her intimate nickname.

The drama got so bad, the pair had to release a statement last month shutting down the nasty rumors.

"The Duke spoke with his family in advance of the announcement. In fact, his grandmother was the first family member he called," the spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess told CNN.

"During that conversation, he shared their hope of naming their daughter Lilibet in her honor. Had she not been supportive, they would not have used the names."

Of course, this is just one of the dozens of examples of slanderous stories this sweet pair has had to endeavor.

Now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former chief of staff Catherine St-Laurent is speaking out about what is was like to work with the couple.

Spoiler alert — she had the best time!

Speaking with The Cut, Catherine revealed it was an "incredible experience."

It's so nice to hear from a real person, and not a SOURCE!

"They are incredibly talented and creative leaders. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to do that, to be able to be with them on their journey."

"The time that I spent with them was incredibly fulfilling," she added.

Catherine, who has been working for the pair since their move to California in 2020, is now advisor for Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Foundation.

"I think they have the potential to be very influential leaders in the social-impact space. I look forward to continuing to be a part of that," she added.

"It’s been a privilege working closely with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, helping to establish Archewell Foundation in its first year,” she said as she moved to her latest role for the couple, as per People.

"Their commitment to compassion and well-being has been the undercurrent of all our activities, both within the organization as well as with impactful projects of the foundation on the ground."

She concluded: "I am deeply proud of what we’ve accomplished together and I’m honoured to remain on as an advisor."

I cannot wait to see what is up next for this sweet family!
