For those with body insecurities, the summer months can be difficult. The warm weather necessitates fewer clothes, and this has a way of putting everyone's bodies on full display.
This summer, though, things are shaping up differently. A new trend, which may have been started by Lizzo herself, has plus-size women embracing their bodies.
Obviously, the traditional thing to wear is a bathing suit. But anyone who's insecure about their body knows that putting that much skin on display can be a frightening proposition.
The second half of the video shows Randi rocking a two-piece bathing suit. She's done with being ashamed of her body.
The badass musician didn't exactly call on bigger women to rock bathing suits this year.
But she did make this post on Instagram recently, in which she confidently declared that the summer of 2021 would be a "BIG GIRL SUMMER".
In a similar video to Randi Bosin's, a TikToker who goes by @honestlyelizabeth showed her new beachwear.
She thanked the women who've helped her feel good about her body.

It's refreshing to see viral trends promote something that everyone should be able to get on board with: feeling good in our own bodies.
Everyone should be able to feel comfortable in a bathing suit, especially if they're hanging out at a beach or pool.
It's tough to just immediately start feeling good about your body, but it's something we can all work toward.
