Mom Praises 'Toddler-Friendly' Job Interview: 'Great Experience'

The pandemic has put many parents in between a rock and a hard place, forcing them to choose between their careers and taking adequate care of their children.

Recently, TikTok user @314handcrafted posted a video about her kid-friendly interview process, which has since gone viral. Thus raising the question, should "kid-friendly" become part of our new normal?

TikTok user and mother Maggie Mundwiller nearly had to turn down a second interview for a prospective job.

Maggie (who goes by the handle @314handcrafted) had no options for childcare.

She was all set to refuse the offer until she noticed how the company stated that the interview process was kid-friendly.

Maggie was elated at the news and began prepping for the interview.

Her little man was dressed to the nines, sporting a dapper blue suit, complete with bow-tie, as well as some truly slick black velcro shoes.

He even helped clean the car and the stroller!

While the interview was going on, Maggie's son started to get hungry.

So the owner of the company offered the toddler the pickle from his sandwich (which he ate happily).

“It was a great experience," Maggie wrote in the captions. "What a welcoming company culture.”

The best part was that her son brought this own resume.

Notice how under "Skills" Maggie made sure to write "Can destroy a clean space in 30 seconds," and "Can spot a dog a mile away."
