Kaley's ability to always tell it like it is is why she has such a dedicated following. Now, the 35-year-old is getting honest about her role on The Big Bang Theory.

But trust me, the second you start the first episode of Kaley's hit series The Flight Attendant — you'll be instantly hooked!

While chatting with *The Hollywood Reporter* as part of their comedy actress roundtable, Kaley admitted she could have played Penny for many more years.

"Coming from a sitcom of 12 years, it was about trying to do something different — but not so different that people are like, 'Why is she doing that?'" she explained.

"It was a bit of a fine line."

"I get asked a lot, 'Are you trying to get away from Penny?' And the answer is not at all. I would've played Penny for 20 years," she confessed.

"But I was nervous, wondering, like, am I going to be accepted, even by the business?" she added.

"Or are [people] going to be like, 'Why is this sitcom girl trying to do this semi-serious show?'"

Well, it's clear she's doing an amazing job in her new role, and it's clear to see The Flight Attendant is a huge hit!
