Clever Hack Uses Tape To Simplify Hanging Up Mirrors And Pictures

Do you absolutely hate hanging things? Are you bad at math?

Me too. That's why I look for the most helpful hacks I can when it comes to home decor and renovation. I recently come across a really helpful one for hanging things on your wall, and I think it'll be a big game-changer for those of us who are less than graceful when it comes to... well, everything.

Alright, so let's get this done.

You'll need the thing you're hanging (obviously), some painter's tape, a sharpie, and a level. This hack doesn't use the level, but I need you to use a level for both of our sanities.

Find your hooks.

Measure the tape out and lay it over where your hooks are. Painter's tape is semi-translucent, which is why it's ideal for this task. Make sure you just use one piece of tape for this part.

Mark and tape.

Use your sharpie to mark where the hook will meet your screw. Then, grab your level and lay out the tape on the wall! Reposition the tape as needed.

Boom, done.

Drill your anchors and screws, pull the tape off, and mount your chosen object!

This hack is super easy and will guarantee you don't put multiple holes in your wall.
