We Should Normalize Getting Dads Flowers For Father's Day

I'm going to let you in on a secret: men like flowers. We like them a lot, actually, yet most of us go our entire lives without ever receiving a gift of flowers.

This year, I think it's high time that we change all of that. Why not start by normalizing getting dads flowers for Father's Day!?

Father's Day is here and many people are scrambling for ideas of what to get dad.

Let's begin by naming off all the things that dad doesn't want or need.

He doesn't need another tie, he doesn't want another golf store gift card and please god — no more boxed sets of The Beatles Greatest Hits.

This year, in order to show the old man how much you truly love and appreciate him — why not buy him flowers?

It may sound strange at first but hear me out.

Studies have shown that receiving flowers can have a profound effect on a person's emotional and mental health.

According to flower gifting service Interflora, 88% of men have never received flowers in their life.

What's even sadder is that the first time the majority of men receive flowers is at their funeral.

But thanks to TikTok user @itssozer and others like him, all of that is slowly beginning to change.

More and more men are receiving flowers for the first time and falling in love with the idea.

Father's Day is the perfect opportunity to normalize this new trend and get your dad something unique, thoughtful, and beautiful.
