Viral Cleaning Video Has People Checking To See If They Can Remove Their Toilet Seats

Who here enjoys cleaning their bathroom? Ugh, yuck. It's definitely not my favorite part of the day, but somebody's got to do it, right? And that person usually turns out to be me.

Since I'm also a clean freak, I'm always looking for better ways to get the job done. So, when I stumbled upon this toilet cleaning hack, my jaw hit the floor, ha, ha!

Okay, cleaning the toilet does suck.

Let's just get that part out into the open. Who here agrees with me? I'm always so grossed out and not looking forward to doing it. But in the end, I cave and scrub the damn thing.

However, getting into all those crevises around the toilet seat can be very tricky.

I think most people understand that. I have a hard time doing it myself. So, what if there was an easier way to do it, huh?

Well, as you have probably already guessed, there is.

A professional cleaner recently shared a video on TikTok that had me stop in my tracks. When I saw it, I thought to myself: Why didn't I ever know about that?

So what's the big deal, you ask?

As it turns out, the toilet seat is removable, people! Oh, yes, you heard that right. OMG, what? How is that a thing? My mom and dad never told me that, ha, ha!

Let's see how you can do it too.

Did you know there are clips on the toilet seat that can be unclipped? When you do so, you can remove the toilet seat and voilĂ ! Now you can get into all those hidden parts. Wow!

Let's review.

Now you can use your favorite cleaner to get all those nasty and yucky things lingering under the seat.

Okay, I have to admit my mind is totally blown by this. Did you know about it or were you as surprised as me?

As you can see from the comments, I'm not the only person who's thrilled by this discovery.

I just have to clean a bathroom for two people, forget about a household of seven. Yikes, that must be a pain, to say the least.

However, before you get too excited about this, I must tell you something.

Not all toilets do this. What? Oh, no! You have to make sure yours does it before you attempt to remove the seat. You wouldn't want to break it. Would you?

So are you going to run to the bathroom right now to check your toilet?

Ha, ha! That's what I'm doing. I have to admit this trick can be such a lifesaver. I don't know about you, but I want my toilet to be squeaky clean, hee-hee!
