You're hoping that they will pitch in, respect the space, and respect you.

When this Redditor's roommate started seeing a new guy, they quickly noticed that money was being stolen.
A couple of cameras later and they caught the guy red-handed stealing another $50.
When a friend needed a place to stay, the Redditor's parents opened up their home. Big mistake. "He would trap people in conversations where he would just talk about himself for two hours straight," they wrote.

One guest of a roommate was banned for her chaos.

He wasn't kidding — he drank all of his booze and lied about needing to borrow the car to look for work.

When they didn't come downstairs the next morning, the child found the person dead from a drug overdose.
